General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage represents the practical reflections and comprehensive understanding of the Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, on the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage. It centers on the perspectives of history, culture, values, nation, and global outlook, bridging the past with the present, unveiling underlying patterns and future directions, embodying both adherence to fundamental principles and innovation,and characterized by five salient features: pronounced practicality, remarkable innovation, profound peoplecenteredness, robust systematicness, and notable scientific rigor. Strengthening the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage is an inevitable requirement for the new cultural mission in the new era. On the new journey, to persist in advancing and reinforcing the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage and to carry forward the historical context, we must consistently adhere to the practical guidance provided by General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage.
